Web design guide:

What happens first? we will need to discuss your project with you, we don't mind how we do this, phone, email, or a face to face meeting, whichever suits you best, also completing our pre-project questionnaire will help us to gain a better understanding of what you require, nobody knows your business like you, so you are the best person to give us a good foundation for what is needed. Once we have established what you need we will produce a quote, or an estimate for you, a quote will be issued, if we are able to establish your exact requirements and both you and us agree that no further alterations will be required, an estimate will be produced where a clear outline of your requirements cannot be established.

If you decide you would like us to build your website, we will ask you to sign our contract and return it to us, this is not a long winded document its a simple outline of our responsibilities to you as our client, an assurance that we will deliver what has been discussed, it will also outline your responsibilities to us, such as providing content within a timeframe, and agreeing to pay the amounts set out in your quote/estimate at the appropriate intervals. We ask all our clients to pay a deposit for their site, on sites under £1000 this is 50% of the total project cost, and on projects over £1000 the deposit is 30% of the total project cost, work will not commence on your project until we have received your deposit.

Once we have received your deposit we will use the information you have given us to build a "mock up" of your website, this will be a static image but will represent actual dimensions and layout of your site, it will be your chance to ask us to make any alterations to your site, we will then go away make your desired alterations, and re-present the website mock-up to you, once you are happy with the design and layout we will then begin to turn your mock-up into a fully functioning website.

Once you are happy with the final draft of your site, we can launch it on the web for you, we will then send you our final invoice. Of course our relationship need not end there, we are on hand to support you to get the best from your site.

We hope this gives you a good breakdown of how we work, we look forward to working with you soon, if you have any questions, please dont hesitate to get in touch
